Description: The Albino Red Lucy Stingray is extremely sensitive to water parameters. The Albino Red Lucy Stingray originates from the Tapajos River in Brazil. This fish should be housed in a very large aquarium or freshwater pond that includes large canister filters. It is better to over-filter the enclosure that this fish is housed in. The tank decor and community should be built around the Stingray. The substrate in this fish's enclosure should be fine-grained sand or gravel to avoid damaging their underbelly. This fish prefers softer water with a pH that leans more towards the acidic range. Tannins in the water will also be beneficial to this fish, so provide driftwood or almond leaves. This ray should not be housed with fish that can fit in its mouth or fish that can become overly aggressive. Large peaceful or predatory fish are ideal tank mates for this stingray.
